Trip Itinerary

View Boulders Beach Penguins, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, Chapman's Peak Drive and Boat Trip to Seal Island in Hout Bay.

9:00 AM - Boulders Beach Penguins
Boulders Beach in Simons Town is home to the ‘Jackass’ African penguin now said to number over 3000, though the species as a whole is listed as endangered. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in the natural habitat.
11:00 AM - Cape of Good Hope
Cape of Good Hope is one of the two world-renowned landmarks within the Table Mountain National Park, the other is Table Mountain. This part of the park is home to an array of fynbos, over 250 species of birds, buck, baboons and Cape mountain zebra.
12:00 PM - Boat Trip to Seal Island
This small island is a sanctuary for thousands of Cape Fur seals as well as a variety of seabirds. The trip back provides beautiful views of Hout Bay. This fun outing is particularly popular with children. A return trip lasts approximately forty minutes.
